AMAX Introduces New Line of Embedded Systems at Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley (ESC SV) 2007 in San Jose

Fremont, CA - April 2, 2007. • A new series of 1U 17" depth, space-saving multi-core uni- / dual processor embedded server solutions, with support for single Via, single or two AMD Opteron Rev. F 2000 series, Intel Multi-Core Xeon Series processors, up to two riser cards for additional add-on cards, and up to eight Gigabit Ethernet ports. These highly innovative server solutions provide unsurpassed computational power, high redundancy, and high availability, and IO expansion capability in the most compact server solution possible. They can be used for applications such as network appliance, web hosting server, firewall appliance, VPN or remote access appliance, web or E-Mail server, and other embedded applications.
  
• A new series of 2U Multi-Core Xeon SATA storage servers, with one multi-function LCD display module for system monitoring, and indented text and logo areas on top cover, for dust prevention, and up to 5-year life span. These solutions are perfect for clean room and fabrication plant (fabs) environment and embedded storage applications, massive data warehousing, enterprise storage, or disk-to-disk backup applications.
  
• A new line of yield optimization tool, providing high availability, fault tolerance and high scalability, and with cabinet options from 11U to 42U, with depths of 600mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm. These tools are ideal for a variety of embedded clustering applications, such as Yield Optimization, Metrology, and Database (RAC).
