System Hardware Engineer:
Summary / Purpose:
AMAX is looking for experienced, proactive and motivated self starters to work as a System Hardware Engineer. Responsibilities include and are not limited to system hardware validation, hardware testing and verification, troubleshooting, and development.
Responsibilities:

Computer System Hardware validation, validation methodology improvement, coordination with other engineers towards hardware improvement
Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware, software, operational and performance requirements of overall system
Test and verify hardware and support peripherals to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements, analyzing and recording test data
Troubleshoot problems in production environments
Liaise with customer, supplier, and internal organizations to provide feedback and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan layout including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications
Duties may also include research, evaluation, development, and application of new processes and methods into products

Qualifications:
A strong desire to work collaboratively with others in a service oriented role
Pro-active and self motivated
Strong problem solving skills, experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
Solid knowledge of hardware, IT products, and solutions
Familiar with RAID, HPC server, storage and cluster
5+ years experience in a Contract Manufacturer industry
BSEE required. MSEE preferred
