Maximum I/O Capacity
The ServMax VCS-2s is equipped with 80 PCI-E Gen 3 lanes that run at 1GB/s (8 GT/s) throughput per lane. 8 PCI-E 3.0 slots are available including four x16 PCI-E 3.0 slots that support double width GPU cards or graphic cards.
Expert Workstation Features
The ServMax VCS-2s comes with a complete set of advanced workstation features including HD Audio with Dolby 7.1, USB3.0, Firewire 1394b and External SATA (eSATA). SAS mezzanine slot and IO mezzanine slot are also available to support a large variety of SAS2 controllers and network adapters including 8-port SAS2 controller, 1 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Infiniband Quad Data Rate (QDR 40Gb/s) and Infiniband Fourteen Data Rate (FDR 56Gb/s) adapters, delivers an ultra-quiet deskside computing environment for office or small research group, with an acoustic level of less than 30dB.
